RUBY EDNA JONES JOSEPH May 3, 1925 – August 27, 2014 SMITHFIELD – Ruby Edna Jones Joseph, age 89, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Barbour Court in Smithfield. Funeral services were held 2:00 PM Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Smithfield Church of God, of which she was a member, with Reverend Jerry Waters officiating. Burial was at Knollwood Memorial Park. She was a native of Johnston County and a daughter of the late Colon Jones and the late Alice Moore Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Joseph, Sr. She is survived by her three children, Eddie Joseph, Jr. of Wendell and Brenda Faye Joseph and Mary Hill, both of Smithfield; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; one brother, Dennis Jones of Four Oaks; and two sisters, Eloise Jones of Smithfield and Ruthie Liverman of Selma.
