Sam Taylor, born on September 13, 1979, to Dorothy and Roy Taylor Sr. passed away on April 25, 2025, at the age of 45. Sam was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend whose kindness, humor, and generous spirit touched all who knew him.
Sam is survived by his loving mother, Dorothy Taylor; his two sons, Brayden Taylor and Grayson Sauls; and his siblings, Vance Taylor (Sherry) of Benson, Roy Taylor Jr (Sheree) of Morehead, and Jason Taylor (April) of Clayton, Amanda Taylor of Jacksonville, and Travis Taylor of Fayetteville, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Taylor.
Sam was a man of a few words, but if you ever met him, you never forgot him. He enjoyed what he done for work, which was painting, and home construction and when he was done with that, he enjoyed grilling at home, and he was known for his sense of humor and self-love.
He leaves behind countless memories filled with laughter, love, and an unwavering sense of devotion to those he cared about. His absence will leave a hole in the hearts of many, but the memories will never fade away.
