Shelly was born April 16, 1969 to Freda Keener Wyrick and the late Darryl Wyrick. Shelly was a loving, supportive, and dedicated mother and a wonderful Christian person. She loved the beach, 80’s music, and hummingbirds.
Shelly is survived by her husband, Richard Evans; children, Chelsea Swain and boyfriend, Jeffery Bass, Trevor Swain and wife, Caitlyn, Ian Evans, Asa Evans; stepdaughter, Leanne Barnhardt; mother, Freda Wyrick; and a sister, Pamela Andrejev.
Memorial service will be held Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 5pm in the McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel, 12830 US 70 Business Highway West, Clayton, NC 27520. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to make donations to the SECU Hospice House, 426 Hospital Road, Smithfield, NC 27577.
