Thomas Anderson Hargis, Jr., went to be with his savior, surrounded by family, on Friday, February 27, 2015. He was born October 8, 1931, in Person County, to the late Thomas Anderson and Callie Parrish Hargis. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 2, 2015 in the McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel, 12830 US HWY 70 Business West, Clayton, NC 27520. The family will receive friends from 10-11am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mazeline Andrews Hargis; three daughters, Brenda H. Wall (Jeff), of Garner, Debbie H. Earp (Needham), of Clayton, Patricia H. White (Steve), of Clayton; son, Ronnie Anderson Hargis (Helen), of Clayton; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a beloved son, Tommy Ray Hargis and a brother, Charles Edward Hargis. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Brian Center of Clayton, especially to the Memory Care Unit for their loving care and support over the last several years.
