

A service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, September 22, 2024 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Pastor Sherrie VanderVeen and Pastor Rich Hartman officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Mr. Ludwick was born in Danville, Virginia on September 11, 1943 to the late George Thomas Ludwick, Jr. and the late Margaret Piercy Ludwick.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam Conflict. Mr. Ludwick was retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad as a general foreman. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working on projects in his garage, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Ann Owen Ludwick; a daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Marty Chobot; 3 grandchildren, Cole, Anna and Noah Chobot; 1 brother and 2 sisters, Pete Ludwick, Sue Ludwick and Rhonda Scearce; and 9 nieces and nephews.
