Tiffany Danielle Yorgensen

Tiffany Danielle Yorgensen, age 31, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 2, 2025, at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh. Born on October 11, 1993, in Wilson County, she was the daughter of William Yorgensen and Sara Hammerstein Yorgensen.

Tiffany spent most of her working life as a restaurant server. She also spent time assisting senior citizens working in a retirement home and worked in a law office. She was loved by her co-workers and customers in whatever job she had. Tiffany was known as a sweet, kind and nurturing woman. But she also had a fiery soul and was fiercely loyal and protective of her loved ones. She was quick to help anyone who asked in a quiet, gentle way with a sweet little smile on her face. Tiffany enjoyed the sunshine, going to the beach and pool, playing cards, listening to music, reading books and watching movies. She loved her family and friends passionately. She made us laugh; she was a joy to be with. She is greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held for Tiffany at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm-1:00pm just prior to the service. A reception with light refreshments will be held directly following the service.

Tiffany is survived by her parents, William and Sara Yorgensen; sister, Cassie Yorgensen (fiancé Jerry Harris); brothers, Nick Yorgensen and Tony Godwin; her nephews, Kaiden Harris and Dalton Godwin; nieces, Harmony Harris and Ava Godwin; grandmother, Betty Lou Outlaw, along with many loving cousins, aunts and uncles.
