Clayton: Todd Anthony Barber, 50, passed away on Monday. Mr. Barber recently retired from the US Army as a Major with 20 years of service. A Funeral service will be held 12:00 Thursday in the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Moody officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Linda L. Barber, a son, Matthew Barber, daughter, Sarah Barber, his mother, Katie B. Barber, brothers, Tony Barber, Terry Barber and wife, Debbie, sister, Pansy Brannan and husband, David, father and mother-in-law, Doug and Joann Lucas, sister-in-laws, Beth Jenkins and husband, Brandon, Pam Lucas and nine nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Barber and a brother, Joe Barber. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon one hour prior to the service.
