Merle was a member of Stones Creek Advent Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Lee; stepchildren, Marie Starling, Edward Lee, Bobby Lee, and Tim Lee; brother, Willie S. Allen; sisters, Margaret A. Lloyd and Maverine A. Hardee; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fenton Dowell Holland, Jr.; 4 brothers; and a sister.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 in the McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel at 3pm. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-3pm at the funeral home. Arrangements by McLaurin Funeral Home.
