Funeral services will be held 5:00 PM, Friday, December 27, 2024 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Pastor David Stuphin officiating.

A graveside service will be held at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM Friday, December 27, 2024 at McLaurin Funeral Home, prior to the service.

He was born in Hickory Flat, Mississippi on May 4, 1935 to the late Charles Everett Weatherly and the late Vinnie Mae Webb Weatherly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife June Weatherly and son Billy Weatherly.

Mr. Weatherly was a Veteran of the United States Army and graduated from Embry Riddle University with a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management. He was retired from Petroleum Helicopters Inc. and enjoyed gardening, driving, spending time with family and neighbors.

He is survived by his children, Shana Key and husband Scott, Celia Howe and husband Charles, James Weatherly and wife Ann, Danny Weatherly and wife Becky, Heather Hale and husband Brent; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Jack Weatherly and wife, Evelyn.
