She was born in Johnston County on April 20, 1948 to the late Lassie “Ben” Edward Johnson and the late Lula Etta “Polly” Bailey Johnson.
Zora enjoyed spending time with her husband and family and was a member of Raleigh First Nazarene/Amplify Church since the age of 16. She enjoyed reading books and cooking for her family and friends. She stood her ground and was an avid Duke fan, amongst a slew of UNC Tarheels. She would bet on Duke games, payment was a Mountain Dew, and rumor has it, she still owes 2 to one of her sons. She was very grateful to her husband for his incredible care for her over the years and is also thankful to the Heartland Hospice staff for their support and care.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ronnie Grey Clement, Sr.; children, Ron (Cindy), Cathy (Todd), Benji (Kelly); 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Melvin, Bobby (Jan), Tim (Lois); multiple nephews and nieces, and a special cousin and friend, Joyce, along with a multitude of long-time friends.
