

Lolly Miller passed away at home in Cle Elum, WA on February 4, 2015 after a long illness. She was born on April 20, 1931 in Arlington, Wisconsin as LuElla Severson. She went to Turtle Lake High School and then moved to Cumberland Wisconsin, where she met Dick Miller and they married on July 7, 1949. After marrying, Dick & Lolly owned and maintained a resort at Beaver Lake Dam in Cumberland, WI. Several moves later, the two finally settled in Bellevue, WA and raised their three children. Lolly worked at a Dry Cleaners, was a Postal Carrier and a Bookkeeper for the family business, Dick Miller & Son Painting from 1973 until 1987 when they both retired. Their son, Jim, took over the business and still maintains the family legacy.
LuElla was a soccer mom, a softball mom, a school choir supporter, tennis mom every year and then became a commercial fisherman’s widow every summer. Her favorite interests were, quilting, knitting, sewing, crocheting and taking care of her 5 granddaughters as they grew up. Early on, she was also a volunteer for the Girl Scouts in Wisconsin for her twin daughters and a Sunday School Teacher at the Methodist Church. Her other hobbies included golfing, bowling and playing cards of any kind.
Lolly is survived by her husband of 65.5 years, Dick, her twin daughters; Connie & Cathie plus her son, Jim and his wife Cheryl. She also left behind her granddaughters Bana (Ken), Marcie, Cindy (Asael), Kirsten (Jason) and Keri (David). Grandma Lolly also had three great grand-children, Joe, Taylor and Brooke, that adored her.
The family will miss our wife; mother; grandmother, great-grandmother and mother-in-law so much.
She will always live in our hearts, our memories, and her presence will always be felt around us. May you rest in peace dear Lady of the Miller Clan.
Her cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cascade Funeral Home of Cle Elum, Washington.
