Mr. Bowman was born on December 10, 1920 in O’lanta, RD, PA, the son of the late Guy and MayBelle (Garrison) Bowman.
He was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School and lifetime member of O’Shanter United Methodist Church. He was a gentle person and avid gardener and loved to enter his vegetables in the Clearfield County Fair.
Mr. Bowman is survived by one sister: Agnes Graham of Clearfield and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Jesse B. Bowman and two sisters: Frances Sturniolo and Esther Burnett.
At the request of Mr. Bowman there will be no public viewing or visitation.
Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc is in charge of all arrangements.
Interment will be at Bloomington Cemetery.
