

He was born on January 22, 1933 in Houtzdale, the son of Dick and Sarah (Mills) Reed.
Clifford was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church.
He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict.
He retired from Reed Stables horse training facility where he was owner/operator and worked as a horse trainer and farrier.
Clifford was a sixty year member of the Osceola Mills Masonic Lodge #515. He held a 33rd degree and was Past District Deputy Grand Master of the 21st Masonic District.
Clifford is survived by six children; Lori Anderson and her husband Bob, of Houtzdale, Clifford E. Reed, Jr., of Woodland, Tammy Reed and her companion Tommy Reich, of Virginia Beach, VA, Thomas Reed and his companion Melony Maines, of Woodland, Shelly Reed and her companion Mark Graham, of Wallaceton and Cindy Reed, of Woodland, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and four siblings; twin sister, Sarah Swistock of Indiana, PA , Alan Reed of Philipsburg, Brent Reed of Houtzdale and Cheryl Pataky of State College.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother Maxine, his Mum Mum Ruth Reed, his wife, Donna L. (Kephart) Reed whom he married on January 17, 1953 and who passed away on November 7, 2011, a grandson, Jeremiah Brown and a great granddaughter, Carley Reed, two sisters; Nancy Payne and Barbara Reed and a brother Dick Reed.
Funeral Services will be held at the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Sean Patrick Smith and Scott Mills co-officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland. Military Honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Clearfield American Legion Post #6 and the VFW Post #1785 Honor Guard.
Friends will be received at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., Clearfield on Friday, August 7, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The Osceola Mills Masonic Lodge #515 will conduct a service at 7:00 p.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
