Eleanor F. Hill

She was born on September 9,1919 in Armagh, PA the daughter of John A. and Nettie S. (Isenberg) Felton.

Mrs. Hill was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Clearfield Free Methodist Church.

Mrs. Hill was a Past Master and Lecturer of the Mt. Joy grange, Past President of the Patriotic Order of Americans and Past President of the Lawrence Township #5 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by three sons; George W. Hill, Jr., of Clearfield, Paul T. Hill and his wife Sharon of Hunker, PA and Harry E. Hill and his wife Deborah of Clearfield, eight grandchildren; William T. Hill, Sr., Clifford C. Hill and his wife Angela, Philip E. Hill, Victor G. Hill, Trevor D. Hill and his wife Rachel, Heather D. Brunson and her husband Chris, Travis D. Hill and his wife Michelle and Melissa J. Rock and her husband Ed and twenty two great grandchildren.

Mrs. Hill was the last member of her generation having been preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George W. Hill, Sr. whom she married on December 24, 1936 and who passed away on July 8, 1991, three granddaughters; Cynthia Justice, Hallie Hill and Kristen Hill, four brothers; Harry A., David, John Edward and Stanley "Pip" Felton, two sisters; Olive Bostian and Jessie Gordon and a daughter-in-law Donna J. (Welker) Hill.

Funeral Services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield, PA on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Joel E. Leininger officiating. Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9 P.M. and on Wednesday from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of the services.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Free Methodist Church, 520 Turnpike Ave., Clearfield, PA 16830.
