Elizabeth A. "Betty" Norris

She was born June 24, 1930 near Houtzdale, PA, the daughter of the late Gustav “Gus” and Elizabeth (Harrington) Freeberg.

Betty was a homemaker,mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Betty was a long time member of St. John Lutheran Church of Clearfield where she was a church secretary, member of the Friendship Club, the church choir and the LCW. She was also a member of Hobby Garden and loved flowers.

She is survived by three children; Larry G. Norris and his wife Rose Marie of Westminster, MD; Anita L. Kaspick and her husband Richard of Braselton, GA and Thomas “Jeff” Norris and his wife Sandra L. of DuBois, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchild and 1 brother: Arthur Freeberg and wife Alice, VA; 1 sister: Rebecca Diane Jobe and her husband Cliff, PA; 3 sister-in-laws: Wilma Freeberg, Ann Freeberg and Velma Freeberg-Taylor.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas C. Norris whom she married on April 15, 1949 and who passed away on September 26, 2002; 3 brothers: Charles M. Freeberg, John E. Freeberg and Joshua J. Freeberg.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 2, 2013 at St. John Lutheran Church, 217 E. Pine Street, Clearfield, PA 16830 with Rev. Robert Way officiating. Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.

Friends will be received at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, 312 E. Locust Street, Clearfield, PA 16830 on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM.
