Evelyn L Cowder

She was born on August 6, 1925 in Woodland, PA, the daughter of Harold L. and Hannah E. (Maines) Stevens.

Mrs. Cowder was protestant by faith.

She was a homemaker and loved to go fishing.

Mrs. Cowder is survived by four children; Brenda J. Klahn of Buckeye, AZ, Judy A. Mullen of Woodland, PA, Marsha G. Brunner of Wasola, MO., and Seth G. Cowder of Woodland, PA, nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and three sisters; Ruby Shoening of Mineral Springs, Barbara Carello and Bonnie L. Knepp both of Clearfield, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard O. Cowder whom she married on January 24, 1942 and who passed away on June 18, 1989 and a sister, Cora Lingle.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield with Pastor Mike Knepp officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland, PA.

Friends will be received on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at the funeral home from 6-8 PM and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the services.
