Helen L. Rubly

Mrs. Rubly was born December 29, 1929 in Woodland, the daughter of August and Margaret (Hendershot) Stucke.

She had been a private home health aide and a laborer in many local factories.

Mrs. Rubly was Methodist by Faith.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and her dogs and liked to play bingo and cards.

Helen is survived by two sons; Gary Rubly and Kevin Rubly and his wife Denise all of Clearfield, six grandchildren; Larry Ray Rubly Jr., Heather Rubly, Ginger Schwartz, Briana, Cassandra and Marissa Rubly, five great grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Linda Rubly of Clearfield and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Rubly was the last member of her generation having been preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ray Harry Rubly, her son, Larry Rubly, six brothers; Clair, Elmer, August, Walter, Henry and James Stucke; a sister, Josephine Rogers; and one son, Larry Rubly.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield with Rev. John White officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM until the hour of services.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
