He was born on August 24, 1927 in Clearfield, the son of Clarence and Annie (Conaway) Krebs.
Jim worked for Harman and Taylor Lumbering. He enjoyed listening to country music.
He survived by a brother, Glen Krebs and his wife, Gail of Landisville, PA, two sisters; Mary Krebs Punxsutawney and Viola Welder.
Mr. Krebs was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Geraldine Luke Krebs who died in 1988 and two brothers: Frank and David Krebs.
Funeral Services will be held at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., Clearfield on Saturday, January 24 , 2015 at 11:00am with Rev. Duane W. Stiner officiating. Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00am until the hour of service.
