Kenneth Smay

Born on April 11, 1976 in Clearfield, he was the son of Robert C. Smay and Carol (Johnson) Gibson both of Clearfield, PA.

Kenneth graduated in 1995 from Clearfield Area High School, Clearfield.

He attended West Side Methodist Church, Clearfield, PA.

Kenneth was employed by Reed Brothers, Clearfield, as a mechanic. He also owned and operated Wicked Graphics, Clearfield for 14 years which was known for graphic designs on race cars.

He loved racing and working on RC/Go Carts with his sons. Kenneth was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing. He loved the beach, warm weather, floating down the river, fishing, and being with his family and friends, enjoying fun times and the laughter that went along with their gatherings.

Kenneth is survived by his parents, his two children Avory Smay and Cole Smay; his paternal grandmother, Betty Ann Smay of Clearfield, brothers, Robert C. Smay, Jr. and his wife, Trish and Michael Smay and his wife, Shannon, of Hyde, PA, and two sisters, Lori Smay of Woodland, PA, Sherry Warren and her husband, Richard of Stronach, PA; nine nieces and nephews, Sierra, Peyton, Kaelynn, Gabby, Lana, Gavin, Avelynn, Haley, Jade, great-niece, Scarlett, and his beloved dog, Remy.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Willard Smay and maternal grandparents, Charles and Joan Brown.

Friends will be received at The Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Inc., 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield, PA on Wednesday, October 18 from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday, October 19, from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 12 noon in the funeral home. Officiant Doug Turner will be conducting the services.
