Linda L Houchins

Born on February 15, 1951 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Anthony and May A. (Pitts) Grenus.

Linda graduated from Clearfield Area High School, Class of 1969.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Clearfield.

In 1972 she wed Jack Houchins in St. John’s Lutheran Church. Together they raised their son.

Linda was a Produce Manager for JG Food Warehouse, Clearfield and retired after 35 years of service.

She was a scout leader and looked forward to the Clearfield County Fair for their great funnel cakes which she loved. Linda also enjoyed listening to the group, Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Linda is survived by her husband, Jack of Clearfield, her son, Craig, and three grandchildren, Stacey Ann Houchins, Tyler Houchins, and Jacob Houchins, all of Clearfield.

She is also survived by one brother, Anthony “Beaver” Grenus, Egypt, PA, one brother-in-law, Jim Houchins, Clearfield, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Deborah.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of her family.
