
She was born March 31, 1930 in Mineral Springs, the daughter of Claye and Myrtle (Teats) Knepp.
Jean was Protestant by Faith.
She had been employed by Clearfield Kurtz Brothers for 33 years and retired in 1992 from Minuteman Press in FL.
Jean is survived by two sisters; Betty Cochrane and Carole Brown and her companion, Chuck Carter all of Curwensville, two brothers; Richard Knepp and his wife, Norma of Erie and Jack Knepp of Hyde, two step children; Larry Tibbens of Portersville, PA and Debra Dixon of Clearfield, two step grandchildren; Sean Raymond and his wife, Debra of Beaver Falls and Joey Dixon of Cranberry, four step great grandchildren; Kenneth and Lauren Tibbens and Dylan and Dayana Raymond, six nieces; Debra Jury, Betsy Brown, Brenda McDonald, Bonne Buck, Cindy Shatto and Suzanne Jacobson and three nephews; Melvin Knepp, David Cochrane and Edward Cochrane.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her 1st husband, Lester Spontarelli, and her 2nd husband, Harry C. Tibbens who passed away June 5, 1993.
Honoring Mrs. Tibbens wishes private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made Clearfield County Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 275 21st Street, Clearfield, PA 16830 or the charity of the donor’s choice.
