Martha W. Nipson

She was born on February 22, 1913, in Asheville, NC, the daughter of John W. and Annie (Moore) Nipson, Jr.

Martha was a member of the St. Andrews Episcopal Church of Clearfield.

She had been employed by Robinson Clay Products until 1960 as a secretary and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation until her retirement.

She is survived by two nieces, Maria Nipson of Albuquerque, NM and Anna (Jones ) Scot, two nephews, Carl Seitz, of Clearfield and Herbert E. Nipson of Cambridge, MA.

Martha was the last member of her generation.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters; Carrol Jones, Margaret Childress, Bette Seitz and two brothers; Herbert and John W. Nipson.

Funeral services will be held on at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Glenn Williams officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the services.
