Mr. Godin was born July 1, 1920 at Clearfield, the son of Emil and Josephine (Tubo) Godin.
He retired from Lingle Coal Company as a dragline operator.
Mr. Godin was a member of the Clearfield Alliance Church.
He is survived by two children; Nancy L. Ordonez of Curwensville and Larry P. Godin and his wife Jenny of Wollongong, Australia, a sister, Daisy Chnupa of Clearfield and four grandchildren.
Mr. Godin was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Julia A. (Spencer) Godin who passed away January 17, 1998 and whom he married December 7, 1940, a daughter, Cindy A. Davis, four sisters and a brother.
Funeral Services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Robert B. Goldenberg officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Joy Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.
