

Born on September 29, 1944 in Clearfield, he was the son of Joseph C. and Beulah B. (Rowles) Pry.
Mr. Pry retired in 2006 as a machinist from the Clearfield Machine Company.
He was Protestant by faith. Mr. Pry was also a member of the Clearfield Creek Rifle Club, the National Rifle Association and was a lifetime member of the Glen Richey Fire Company.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
Mr. Pry is survived by his wife, Linda (Bush) Pry, whom he married on November 12, 1966; three children: Bradley Pry and his wife Lisa of Clearfield, Sonya Curtis and her husband Tony of Olanta and Christine Pry of Clearfield; a grandson, Jadon Wisor; two step-granddaughters: Kyley Peters and Karissa Peters; his mother in-law, Phyllis Bush; a sister and six brothers sister: Sarah Lumadue of West Decatur, Albert C. Pry of Curwensville, David A. Pry and his wife Darlene of Shiloh, Paul L. Pry and his wife Dee of Mineral Springs, Rev. Kenneth L. Pry and his wife Carole of Mineral Springs, Joseph W. Pry and his wife San of Mineral Springs and Samuel E. Pry and his wife of Dolores of Cherry Tree. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two sons: Richard W. “Richie” Pry, Jr. and Dwayne S. Pry; two sisters: Bessie Brown and Cleda Royer and his father in-law, Leo Bush.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., Clearfield, PA with his brother, Rev. Kenneth L. Pry officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, July 2, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.
