Robert William O'Dell

Robert William O'Dell, a beloved, hard-working, and humorous individual, passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on June 6, 1949, in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, Robert was the cherished son of Allen Charles and Gertrude (Williams) O'Dell. He was a graduate of Curwensville Area High School, class of 1969.

Robert, affectionately known as Bob, served proudly in the United States Navy. After his military service, he embarked on a career that included working as a truck driver for TAFCO in Hyde, PA, and TARGET. He later served as a foreman at Penn Line Enterprises in Scottdale, PA, for ten years before retiring. Following retirement, Bob enjoyed working as an ATA Bus Driver for Fullington Bus Company in Clearfield, PA.

Bob was united in marriage to Shirley Ann (Gisewhite) Sheeder in Mineral Springs, PA. He is survived by his children: Amanda Kritzer (Richard) of Olanta, Angela Miller (Richard) of Sykesville, and Robert "Ben" O'Dell (Lisa) of Grampian. He also leaves behind stepchildren: Rick Allen Sheeder (Chris) of Hyde, Scott Edward Sheeder (Andrea) of Clearfield, and Terry Lynn Sheeder (Barbie) of Grampian.

His legacy includes grandchildren Ryan Kritzer, Ben Jasper, Keiana O'Dell, and Paislee O'Dell, as well as step-grandchildren Katherine Barnard (Chad), Preston Sheeder (Ashley), Bree Spingola (Justin), Jacob Sheeder, Logan Sheeder (Companion, Jacob), and Alana Sheeder. Bob was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Grant Barnard, Mac Barnard, William Sheeder, Lainey Mae Spingola and one step great-grandson, Ryker Kritzer. He is also survived by two brothers, Gerald O'Dell (Shirley) of Tioga, and Don O'Dell (Patty Lawson) of Luthersburg, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Charles.

In his personal time, Bob loved going camping and fishing, activities that brought him immense joy and relaxation.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Clearfield VFW Post 1785, 1145 Industrial Park Rd., Clearfield, PA 16830 from 5-7 p.m.
