

Born July 4, 1949, he was the son of Lewis and Alice (Brink) Rummings.
Mr. Rummings had been employed by Benjamin Coal Company and Bradford Coal Company as a heavy equipment operator.
He was Christian by Faith.
Mr. Rummings was a Vietnam Veteran having served with the Pennsylvania National Guard, 28th Infantry.
Roger will be missed and remembered by his daughters; Jami Pike (Tom) of North Carolina, Christy Smallwood and Jennifer Sharp (Rick) all of Woodland, a grandson Caleb Graham who resided with him in his early years, grandchildren; Destini Lauder (Shane), Christina, Kasey and Tiffany Swanson, Christian and Caitlynn Graham and Shaylee Sharp, a number of great grandchildren, three siblings; Sherry Houser of Hyde, Robert Rummings (Starlette) and Gloria Shepler (Robert) all of Glen Richey, numerous nieces and nephews and his former wife and friend, Bonnie Jordan of Woodland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Fredrick Rummings, a nephew, Ned Swanson, a son-in-law, Carl Graham and paternal grandparents; Arthur and Lula (Swatsworth) Rummings and maternal grandmother, Ida Brink.
Funeral Services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Michael Patton officiating. Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
