

Born June 15, 1929, in Morrisdale, the daughter of Michael and Lucy (DeFazio) Albano.
She was a homemaker and had owned and operated her beauticians shop in Philipsburg; was also co-owner of D & R Furniture Store. Rose had also been employed at the Internal Revenue Service, Harrisburg and had been a private duty nurse in the Clearfield Area.
Rose was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Clearfield.
She was also a member of the Ladies of the Clearfield Moose, Clearfield VFW Auxiliary and the F.O.E. 812 Auxiliary.
Rose is survived by her two sons: Dennis K. Parada of Clearfield and Rev. Robert L. Parada of Richmond, VA; six grandchildren: Krista Germeil and her husband Marc Donald, Tammy Parada, Amber Parada, Katie Rose McDearmon and her husband Matthew, Andrew Parada and Kem Parada and his wife Jamie; nine great grandchildren; three siblings: Phyllis Santamala, Eugenio M. Albano and Michael Albano and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Robert Dixon; second husband, Stanley Parada; three sisters: Mary Lou Berardis, Betty Pertree and Joan Reichart and a daughter-in-law, Laurie Parada.
Funeral Services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., Clearfield on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM with Deacon Dennis Socash officiating. Interment will be in Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Philipsburg.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.
