

He was born on April 29, 1987 in Clearfield, the son of George L. and Suzann (Knepp) Jacobson of Glen Richey.
Ryan was a graduate of the Clearfield Area High School class of 2005.
He was employed with Pennlines.
Ryan was an enthusiastic Penguins and Penn State fan. He enjoyed golfing, canoeing, riding, fishing, hunting and spending time with his friends and family. He would be best known to his friends for his bright smile and infectious personality, always wanting to bring smiles and happiness to those around him. He will be forever loved and missed by many.
He was Methodist by faith and was a member of the Glen Richey Fire Co.
Ryan is survived by his parents, a sister, Heather Rees and her husband Jarrod of Clearfield, a brother, Tyler Jacobson of Glen Richey, maternal grandfather, Melvin D. Knepp of Hyde, two nieces; Tayah Renee Rees and Aria Arin Rees, these aunts and uncles; Rita Jacobson, Richard and Lois Mitchell, John Jacobson all of Glen Richey and Melvin and Jody Knepp of Bigler, numerous cousins and his beloved K9 Boxer, Nikita.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Aaron L. Jacobson who passed away on October 26, 2002, paternal grandparents; Hjalmer V. and Mary V. Jacobson, maternal grandmother, Rowena P. Knepp, an uncle, Ronald Jacobson and an aunt, Mary Joan Smith.
Funeral services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., Clearfield on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Lay Pastor Leanne Peters officiating. Interment will be in the Thompson Cemetery, Glen Richey.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 2 to 9 P.M. and on Sunday from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of the services.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Glen Richey Fire Co., or the Glen Richey Recreational Park, both at 86 Firehouse Road, Glen Richey, PA 16837.
