

Born on January 13, 1942 in Smoke Run, she was the daughter of Richard Quentin and Lorraine Elizabeth (Barrelle) Seabolt.
Sandy was a graduate of BCI, now known as Glendale Area High School. She also graduated from Adele Allen School of Beauty Culture, Altoona.
She was a supervisor of registration at Clearfield and Philipsburg Hospitals, retiring in 2003.
Sandy had been a member of the Centre Grove United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Semple had served in the Yokefellow Prison Ministry at the Clearfield County Jail.
On June 14, 1958 she wed Lawrence W. Semple who survives.
Sandy is also survived by her son, Lawrence A. Semple of Utahville, five grandchildren; Jessica L. Greaser (Ryan), Lauren E. Semple, Elissa A. Agar (Kevin), Paul J. “Jake” Semple (Katie) and Taylor C. Martin (Cody), nine great-grandchildren; Nadiya, Lydia, Wyatt, Caleb, Rylee, Allison, Bennett, Aiden and Jack, a sister, Lori R. Pollock (Mark) of Marion Center and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Barry C. Semple and son, Scott R. Semple.
Funeral Services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 1:00 PM with Mr. Jim Kane officiating. Interment will be in Historic Crown Crest Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the hour of services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
