Steven L. Hergenrother

He was born April 16, 1951 in DuBois, the son of Philip and Ila L. (Leach) Hergenrother.

Steven was a graduate of the Clearfield Area High School and Pennsylvania State University. He was a computer programmer for the United States Department of Defense until 1980.

He was a member of the West Side United Methodist Church and was an Adult Counselor to the youth fellowship.

Steven was a member of the Mathematic Association of America, American Mathematic Society and Penn State Alumni Association.

He is survived by an aunt: Muriel L. “Myrna” Beard and her husband, George of State College and several cousins and friends; Eleanor Bodle, Mary Helen Hipps and Linda Robison and their families.

Steven was preceded in death by his father, Philip on July 19, 1999 and his mother, Ila on August 13, 1999 and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., of Clearfield at 8:00 P.M. with Rev. Dr. Joleen A. Willis officiating. Interment will be in the Centre Cemetery, Hyde.

Friends will be received on Monday, April 29th at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 P.M. until the hour of the service at 8PM.
