Dr. W. Douglas Krolick

He was born on December 10, 1959 in Clearfield, PA, the son of the late James J. and Alice Jean (Turner) Krolick, Sr.

Dr. Krolick was a graduate from the Clearfield Area High School class of 1977, University of Pittsburgh in 1981 and Ohio School of Podiatry in 1985 as a podiatrist. He practiced podiatry in Tampa, FL and was a professor of Biochemistry in Miami at the University of Miami.

He was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.

Dr. Krolick is survived by a brother, John Krolick, Jr., of Clearfield, a maternal aunt, Mae I. Whitehill, of Clearfield, a paternal uncle, Thomas Krolick and his wife Carol, of Clearfield and several cousins all who live in Clearfield.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., Clearfield on Wednesday , April 3, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee officiating. Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.

The family suggests that contribution be made to Salvation Army, P.O. Box 987, 119 Byers Street, Clearfield, PA 16830 or the Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library, 1 South Front Street, Clearfield, PA 16830 or a charity of donor’s choice.
