She was born on July 25, 1946, in Goed Fortuin, Essequibo, West Bank Demerara, British Guiana, South America, to the late Donald Junor and Ethel Junor. The values instilled in her from a young age—faith, family, hard work, and compassion—became the guiding principles of her life.
Agnes dedicated her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her work was not just a job but a true calling. She was known by her patients and colleagues for her gentle touch, kind words, and unwavering patience. Her career reflected her deep commitment to service and her natural instinct to nurture and uplift those around her.
Outside of her profession, Agnes had a vibrant and fulfilling personal life. She loved cooking traditional dishes, tending to her garden with pride, and traveling whenever the opportunity arose. A true lover of life’s simple joys, she also enjoyed shopping, spending time with friends, and most of all, being surrounded by her grandchildren. Each visit, story, and embrace brought her immeasurable joy.
Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. As a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Agnes remained active in her ministry and congregation. She found peace, purpose, and community through her spiritual beliefs, and her faith guided her through life’s trials and triumphs.
Agnes was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Donald and Ethel Junor, her brother David, and her sister Gwendolyn. Though they are no longer here, their memories lived on in Agnes’s heart and were often shared with love and pride.
She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children: Jacqueline (Gerald), Anthony, Belinda, and Frank (Nicole). Her strength, love, and guidance shaped their lives and will remain with them always.
Agnes is also survived by her devoted siblings: Alice, Jean, Donald, Louisa, Colin, Maggie, Rose Ann, and Mary. The bond they shared was unbreakable—a connection rooted in shared history, family traditions, and mutual respect.
Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Deidra, Felicia, Andre, Alex, Winston, Alonzo, Jack, and Juliet. She adored each of them dearly and found her greatest joy in watching them grow, achieve, and carry forward the values she held dear.
To know Agnes was to love her. Her legacy is one of kindness, resilience, humility, and unconditional love. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all who have offered support, prayers, and condolences during this time.
