Doug, Gloria and Luke,
I first met Annette when Doug and I took one of our many cadet road trips out to California. Annette made me feel right at home with her grace, beauty, charm, and wit. Since that first visit I saw Annette several more times as Doug and I celebrated graduations, reunions, and other special events. Annette always had a great smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. She was full of life and ready for a good time. My last memory of Annette was at Doug's Brigadier General promotion ceremony and celebration. I had a great conversation with Annette catching up with her life. My lasting memory was how proud she was of Doug. And she should be - She did a great job raising a son, husband, father, and General. I wish I could have personally paid my respects to you and your family on your loss. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during your time of grief.

Doug, Gloria and Luke,
I'm very saddened at the loss of your Mother, my Sister.  We shared the love that can only happen between a little sister and big brother, along with the closeness that can come from so many years filled with both happiness and saddness.  Through it all, we relied and shared with each other and our family, and remained close in spite of the miles between us.

For me, losing her is losing the last part of the family I knew as a child.  
There are so many memories that only she and I could remind each other of, and I'll miss that.  I know she passed on many stories of those times on to you, along with her courage, her spirit, her charm, and her beauty; all mixed in with a good dose of our Milistefr heritage!  I'm grateful she was able to know the blessing of having wonderful children and that you all will value and honor the characteristics she passed on to you.

I pray she is now at rest and at peace, and that God will bless her soul and each of you,

Doug, Gloria and Luke,
I'm very saddened by the loss of your Mother, my Sister.  I'm filled with wonderful memories of our growing up together as kids on the Ranch and of the sharing in each other lives as adults.  We knew both hard times and good times, but always had the support of each other.   We had the closeness that can only happen between a Big Brother and Little Sister.  We went through so much over the years, as every family knows.  My prayers are that she is at rest and peace, knowing she leaves behind a wonderful family and loving friends.

My memories of her are many, and of how proud and how much she valued all of you.  You each carry and learned from her spirit, her charm, her strength, and her courage, not to mention the stength that is deep in our Milistefr heritage.  I can think of no better tribute to her life than the values she instilled in you, and I am grateful she was able to know that blessing.

Doug, Gloria & Luke
Annette & I were friends for over 20 years.  We shared many senior moments, & stories of days passed.  Being a friend of Annette was an encounter with Happiness & Laughter.  I am so thankful to have know Annette and to have experienced her Grace, Dignity, Charm, Loyalty,Honesty, Strenght, Humor and her Passion for Sewing and Love of her Family.
   Annette & I believed that we had the "Greatest Son"  Each time Doug, you would do some thoughtful, kind, loving deed like: decorate her apartment in Arizona with signs and streamers saying "Welcome Home", & bringing your Mother to Germany two(2) times for vacation & taking time off to tour all around with your Mother (Gloria 2nd time) & myself, to honoring her with photos around you home, surprising her at Christmas by decorating her Condo with Christmas Things & talking to all of her Doctors & keeping up with her Medical progress it made my son's chance of being "the Greatest Son"harder each and every time I talked with your Mother.  By the way adding all those Titles in front of your name Major General (Dr.) made your mother so very Proud.  It was about the time, Doug that you and your family moved to Washington DC we had to agree that we each have "The Greatest Son, Greatest Daughter-In-Law,Greatest Grandsons and Greatest Grand doggies"  Your Mother was so very proud of you and your family.  Annette often told me how much she appreciated everything you and Gloria had done for her.  Annette waited very very long to be a Grandmother.  She was very thankful that you, Gloria and Luke lived in Tampa the first years of Luke's life.  Annette said Luke brought joy and smiles to her life and heart.
  Knowing Annette was indeed a gift from God.
  I will be toasting Annette Sunday from San Diego.  Monday I plan on going to Carlsbad Beach to say a prayer and toast Till We Meet Again to a GREAT FRIEND!

I've had the great fortune to receive the motherly love and wisdom from a few great women including Mother Robb. Annette was the perfect Cadet Mom! Her love and care didn't end with our graduation, but lasted a lifetime. I'll never forget the twinkle in her eyes and her brilliant smile. I'm so sorry that I can't be there to celebrate her life, but please accept our condolences and prayers.

Doug, Gloria & Luke:
Aunt Annette was like a mother to me when I was small. She took care of me in Omaha while my mother was away flying for United Airlines. I was too little to remember that time, but Aunt Annette and I talked about it a lot. She was so good to me. I wish we could have lived closer these last few years. I will miss her a lot. I am thankful for all she did for me.

Douglas and Gloria & Luke, 
Your mom and I became very good friends over the last 8 yrs or so.  We had many laughs and she was a wonderful woman.  I will truly miss her.  I have found myself thinking about bringing her a platter of food quite a few times since she passed.  We were always there for each other, especially if we made a large pot of soup or a cassarole.  She was so proud of all three of you.  Heaven is a little brighter these days!
