In 1982, he moved to Clearwater, Florida and later attended Clearwater High School. While a student at CHS, he was a member of ROTC - although he did not have fond memories of Paris Island! He had a great interest in other countries and cultures and during his time at Clearwater High he ‘adopted’ a Norwegian foreign exchange student which resulted in many visits for years to come. He went on to study at Saint Petersburg College (SPC) where he discovered a love for photography.
He met Amy Losee while working at the Countryside Country Club and they started their life together in Daytona Beach. Tony pursued photography and his love of surfing; he later chased the waves all the way to Costa Rica, among other great surfing spots. Tony and Amy later moved to Apopka, Florida where they married, bought their first home, and he became employed as a Network Administrator. Tony and Amy later divorced, but remain wonderful friends.
His love of computers and technology began at an early age. When Tony was just eleven years old he taught himself how to take apart and program computers. This amazing talent and passion eventually took him down a long path of working with computers. It was during this time he befriended Henry Rodriguez and was honored to serve as best man in Henry’s wedding. They worked together, and later left the company together, to begin another company.
Tony had many friends and enjoyed life. He loved punk rock music and frequently joined his brother, Mike, on the Warped Tour. Tony began his own cutting edge DJing company which he named ‘The Frazier Experiment’. As a DJ, producer, and performer, Tony’s work was best described as dark and alternative in nature. His sound sets ranged from the alternative New Wave bands of the 80’s to modern alternative / cutting edge Dark Wave, Gothic/Industrial & EBM Synth. What separated Tony from many of the other talented DJ acts out there was his extensive knowledge and skill in the digital realm of music production. This allowed him to produce several originally created tracks to spin along with the normal Alternative genre tracks that other New Wave DJ’s play. While many DJ’s were just starting out in the digital world and discovering its options and equipment, that span way beyond simple CD decks or old turn tables, Tony had been living in this world from its inception. His fascination with experimentation and mastery in this field had grown into an exciting act in that it advanced re-mixing and sonic creation well beyond the scope of the average DJ.
Tony’s relationship with his mother was very special and they spoke frequently on the telephone. He loved her, and her cooking, very much.
His family and friends are mourning the loss of such a vibrant, kind, caring, and unforgettable personality. It is devastating and will leave many scars on our hearts. The tears flow, but we also are beginning to celebrate his life.
