Bernie Latzy

He was born on January 14, 1947 in Homestead, PA to the late George and Margaret (Novak) Latzy.

Bernie was employed with U.S. Steel prior to retirement in 2003. He loved gardening, his Amateur Radio (KB3HBQ), woodworking in his garage in West Mifflin, and most of all entertaining family and friends at the B & B Lounge! Once he and his wife, Bonnie, moved to Florida, he enjoyed spending mornings at the pool, and afternoons at the Safety Harbor American Legion, Safety Harbor VFW, and other favorite establishments.

We miss him dearly...

Bernie was preceded in death by his beloved parents; and, his nephew, Michael Duli.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie (Miller) Latzy; daughter, Lynn Carmichael; grandchildren, Ashley Minech (Mike West), Amanda Andreoli (Tony), and Michael Carmichael; great grandchildren, Makayla Horvwalt, Cameron Davis, Grayson West, Kylie West, and Kaleb West; sister, June Duli (Mike), and sister-in-law, Renee (Miller) Duffy; niece, Lori (Duli) Gottschalk (Brad); and great nephews & niece, Brenden, Cameron & Madisyn.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home.
