Bohan, Betty Ruth (Leonard) 81, of St. Petersburg passed away on July 25, 2016. She was originally from Texas. Betty received her degree in Sociology from Auburn University. Her lifelong focus was on Early Childhood Education. Her career included, The Jewish Community Center of Pinellas, Jordan Park Head Start and YWCA where she was Program Director of Children’s Programs 1991-2001. She was a member of SPACUS, FACUS, PECA, and served on the Juvenile Welfare Board. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Bohan. Betty is survived by her children: Beatrice Nasiadka (John), Bruce Bohan (Dantys), Elizabeth Kuba (Larry). Grandchildren, Audrey Ramirez (Roberto), Ashley Nasidaka, Amanda Vahab (Daniel), Austin Bohan, Miranda Bohan, Bridget Bohan, Steven Kuba, Sara Kuba. Great grandchildren: Kevin Ramirez and Ava Ramirez. A memorial service will be held at Oakhurst United Methodist Church, 13400 Park Blvd, Seminole, FL on August 13 at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Tampa.
