Bruce C. Gerber

Bruce was born August 19th, 1946 in Jackson, Michigan. He was the son of the late Louis A. Gerber and Clover (Nelson) Gerber.

Bruce was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. After returning from Vietnam, Bruce studied accounting and earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida. He was an accomplished corporate accountant for many years who loved his work. His hobbies included building and racing boats, photography, target shooting and motorcycling. Bruce was a humble man of integrity, a dedicated father and devoted husband.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Daniel L. Gerber and Thomas A. Gerber.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Pamela K. Gerber, his daughter Jennifer D. (Matthew) Bennett, son Timothy B. (Candice), and siblings Jon J., Victoria (Gary) Main and Christopher C. (Nancy). He also leaves behind grandchildren Nathaniel Way (Alyvia Trezza), Trista Gerber and step-grandson Jeffrey Bennett, as well as a great-granddaughter Alaiyah Way. In addition to his immediate family, Bruce is survived by numerous nephews and nieces and their families.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 30th, 2025 at 10am at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Road Clearwater, Florida.
