Carmito Laracuente of Safety Harbor died at the age of 100 years on Wednesday, September 18th at Aspire at the Harbor Nursing Home. He was born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, and came to Florida in 1988 from New York City. He was a husband, father, grandfather, Chef and member of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church. He enjoyed family and friends, cooking, gardening and music. Survivors include three sons, Stephen Honolulu, Hawaii, David Pinellas Park, Florida, Kenneth North Las Vegas, Nevada, two daughters Patricia Gladstone, New Jersey and Cynthia Union Beach, New Jersey, eight Grandchildren David, Lauren, Michael, Shane, Scott, Tyler, Derek and Alexander, and three siblings, Federico Palm Bay, Florida, Brunilda New York City, New York and Peter Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico.
A graveside service for Carmito will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759.
