Charles Byron Hyde

Charles Byron Hyde (Byron), age 86, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023. He was born in Troy, Ohio to Mary (Gump) Hyde and Charles Monroe Hyde. Byron worked in the printing industry for over 30 years and managed printing plants throughout the country. He enjoyed golf, sailing, snow skiing, attending car races and watching his favorite football and baseball teams.

Byron is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gail Hyde; daughter, Jennifer Watts and husband, David; son, Alan Hyde and wife, Lynn; granddaughter, Ashley Wood and husband, Marcus; great grandson, Wyatt; great granddaughter, Noreen; brother-in law Tim Currier and wife, Becky; nephew, Jack Currier and wife, Erin; and Judy Hyde, mother of Jennifer and Alan. Byron is also survived by his beloved cat, Rusty, who gave him much joy and love. Family & friends will greatly miss Byron.
