Dan J. McCann, 76, of Seminole, FL went to be with the Lord on December 5, 2014, peacefully at home. He was born on March 15, 1938 in Bringhurst, Indiana. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Susan B. McCann; three daughters, Sunny (Donnell) Walker, Michelle (Michael) Serdynski, Heather (Chris) Lauttenbach; son, Brandon McCann; grandchildren, Christian, Dylan, Kaydence, Madeline Serdynski and Kylie Lauttenbach; his mother, Ullainee Snyder. He was a retired carpenter and former teacher. He was a member of First Baptist Church Indian Rocks, former member of Elks #2159-Largo, and former member of the Suncoast Model Railroad Club. He was musically talented, sang and played the trumpet. He enjoyed model trains, landscaping and loved traveling with his family to National Parks and camping. A memorial service will be held on December 20th at 10:00am at First Baptist Church Indian Rocks and internment will follow at Sylvan Abbey Cemetery at 1:00pm.
