In her early years, she worked for the airlines, a role that reflected her adventurous spirit and love of people. After marrying in April 1969, later that year she moved to Florida and soon settled in Tampa where she built the life she cherished most- that of raising her family.
Her greatest joy was being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She poured herself into her family wholeheartedly, always placing their happiness above her own. She was the steady presence — the constant — not only for her children and grandchildren, but for neighborhood children as well. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, and everyone was always welcomed.
For a brief time, she worked for the Home Shopping Network, but her passions extended far beyond traditional work. She raised and raced thoroughbred horses, often helping her mares deliver their foals safely into the world. It was a role that reflected her nurturing spirit — strong, steady, and caring.
Sweet, traditional, and just a little spunky, she loved deeply and lived simply to bring happiness to everyone around her. Her legacy lives on in the family she adored and the many lives she touched through her quiet strength and constant love.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Peter Fasciano, and her lifelong best friend and the father of her children, William “Bill” Burke.
She leaves behind the family she treasured most: her children, Kimberly (Moises), Kelly (Keith), Colleen (Stuart), and Joshua; her grandchildren, Sean (Julia) Brennan, Kaitlyn (Jake), Shane, Donovan and Griffin ; and her precious great-grandchildren, Parker and Aidan.
She simply wanted everyone happy, and she dedicated her life to making sure they were. She was the heart of her family, and that heart will beat on in all who love her.
Friends are invited to her visitation and a small service to be held on Saturday, February 21 at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00pm at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, Florida. In keeping with Dianne’s bright and full of life spirit, the family kindly invites guest to wear cheerful colors in celebration of her life. A graveside service will follow at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Garden of Devotion, where she will be laid to rest next to her best friend Bill Burke.
