

Donna Lee Harms passed away to be with our Lord on 4/14/16. She and her husband Joseph Harms of 52 years have been residents of Oldsmar, Florida. Donna was born in Chicago, Illinois, one of three children of Steve and Dorothy Condon. She married in 1964 and shortly thereafter moved to Guam where her husband was stationed. The move also involved a new son, Richard who had a short taste of the Navy life. Their daughter Kathleen was born in Chicago, Heights, Illinois following a return to the states. Her vagabond husband moved her 11 times over her lifetime. In 2005, they built a vacation home on the Lake of the Ozarks where they spent many enjoyable summers with the family. After her children were in college, Donna started a successful interior design business (Timeless Designs). Donna was an avid boater and water sports enthusiast and enjoyed both fresh and saltwater activities. Following several friends, she traded boats for motorhoming and joined the Clearwater Land cruisers. This resulted in many memorable trips both local and nationally. Upon her husband’s retirement, they enjoyed memorable trips to New Zealand, Ireland, Hawaii, and Europe. Donna is survived by her husband, Joseph, daughter Kathleen Ballash of Tampa, FL and Son, Richard Harms of Newbury Park, CA. She has 5 grandchildren; Stephanie White, Caleb Lang, Steven Ballash, Joseph Harms and Christina Harms. She has a sister, Patricia Rund of Long Grove, Illinois and Brother Steve Condon of Savannah, GA. She leaves behind a loving dog, Angie. A memorial service is scheduled for April 30, 2016 @ 9am.
