Doris Watson, age 95 passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Doris was born on June 16th 1929 the daughter of Roland and Edith Ambrose. Doris grew up in the Woodberry neighborhood of Baltimore Maryland. She graduated from Forest Park High School in 1947. In 1950 she met the love of her life Kenneth S. Watson. They married in 1952 giving birth to daughter Melinda in 1955 and son Scott in 1959. Doris spent her adult working career as a secretary at Noxzema during her years in Maryland and DuPont after moving to Delaware. In her retirement years Doris enjoyed volunteering at Skycrest United Methodist Church and the American Red Cross. Doris was preceded in death by Kenneth in 1998 and her daughter Melinda in 2011.
