-John (Terry) and his wife, Cheryl, of Fayetteville, GA
-Dr. Robert (Frostie) of Oldsmar, FL
-Suzanne and her husband, Louis, of Sugar Land, TX
-Kent and his wife, Denise, of Clearwater, FL
And his Grandchildren:

-William of Fort Worth, TX
-Army Capt. Edward of El Paso, TX

He was married to Marjorie (“Marge”) for 67 years before she passed in 2018; this year would have marked their 74th anniversary!
Skip led the most amazing life anyone could ever hope to have! He grew up boating in the Chesapeake Bay and that love of the water stayed with him all of his life. While in high school, near the end of World War II, he was selected for the US Navy High School Flight Training Program and learned to fly. After the war he spent many hours flying Marge all over the Southeast. He was still flying into his 70s!
After high school, he joined the US Navy and was stationed in their Hospital Corps for two years. With a desire to become a Veterinarian, Skip enrolled at the University of Maryland and received a degree in Zoology. He joined Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity while there. After some “hands-on” experiences assisting a Veterinarian he found the desire to become a Dentist and then set off to Georgetown University School of Dentistry.
His Great-Great Uncle Gilcrest had discovered Dunedin years earlier and operated a general store on what is now Main St; near the Pinellas Trail. Skip’s father clerked in the store as a young man. Skip had made several trips over the years and loved Dunedin so much that he and Marge moved there in 1955 and that’s where he practiced Dentistry for almost 40 years.
During his time in Dunedin he was extremely active in civic and professional organizations: Boy Scouts Troop #58 (1st Scoutmaster), Dunedin Rotary (President), Dunedin Chamber of Commerce (Board of Directors) and Boy Scouts of America (35 year Veterans Award).
He also achieved many important personal and professional milestones: Eagle Scout, Academy of General Dentistry Fellow, Upper Pinellas Dental Society (President), Florida Dental Association Honorable Fellow, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Elder and original founder, Rotary Foundation Paul Harris Fellow, Academy of Dentistry International Fellow, International Association of Pathology member and American Dental Association Life Member.
But, quite possibly his proudest achievement, and one of his favorite stories, was that he played for the Washington Redskins! Not as a football player but as a member of their marching band!
Skip’s family will always remember the amazing and exciting summer trips he would plan. Alternating weeks-long camping outings to North Carolina or long trips to all corners of the US and even Canada. But most memorable was a two-week sailing trip through the US and British Virgin Islands by renting a 38’ sailboat with just his family at the helm!
At retirement, Skip and Marge built a home on Lake Tarpon alongside Marge’s parents and, after twenty years, moved to Mease Manor in Dunedin.
Skip will be forever remembered for his love of life and love of family. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten!
