Enid Gwendolyn Goodman

She was born November 21, 1925, in Cannington Ontario Canada, the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine Apps.

Enid resided in Cannington, graduated from Cannington Continuation School in 1944, and later graduating from Toronto Western Nursing School in 1949. Enid was a visiting nurse in Canada and Communicable disease nurse in Bermuda. In Decatur, IL she was on the surgery floor at Decatur and Macon County Hospital then retiring as an Industrial nurse at Caterpillar.

She married her husband of 47 years Thomas R Goodman on July 16, 1952.

Enid was a member of Sylvan Abbey UMC in Clearwater, Fl and Grace UMC in Decatur, IL and was active with the United Methodist Women.

Enid is survived by her two sons, Barry (Terri) Goodman of Decatur, IL and Ray (Jayne) Goodman of Clearwater, FL.

Three grandchildren, Kristen (Christopher) Bronke, Downers Grove, IL, Robert Craig (Kayla Payne) Goodman, Clearwater, FL and Tory Allen (McKenzie) Goodman, Ruther Glen, VA along with many nieces and nephews.

Enid was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas and brother, Gordon E Apps.

Enid will be remembered by her family and friends as devoted mother, loving and caring grandmother, a loving wife and committed Christian.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Sylvan Abbey UMC 2817 Sunset Point Rd Clearwater, FL 33759.
