This is one man I will never forget. He was such a great guy whom always had a smile on his face. He was my first true love in high school and a friend for life. Rest in peace dear Eugene. You will always be missed.

To the family and friends of Gene, please accept my condolences for your  loss. I discovered this as I was sending Gene happy birthday wishes. I am very saddened by this . Many memories... Friendship for over fifty years. From playing softball in Cornwall in the summer of 1971, to cycling on the bicycle trails of west-central Florida when we were well into our fifties, both mountain bikes and road bikes. Bucs, Rays and Lightning games. Super Bowl parties. Prayers for Gene and the Meagher family. He was a good guy and a good friend. He will be missed. May he Rest In Peace.

I worked with Gene from 2006 until he retired. He was a great mentor and I learned alot from him. He was also always willing to listen and give advise when needed, no matter the topic.  He was just a good human being. He will be so missed.  My condolences go out to his family. 

We were so saddened to hear the news of Gene’s passing. Gary and I were fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend a lovely evening with Gene at a family birthday dinner this past July… He was a lovely man. I am sorry to hear this, as just two weeks ago I saw and talked to Gene at Publix's.   Gene was one of my supervisors when I was at TGH.  Gene was a great man and I learned alot from and had alot of fun with him.  Gene will be greatly missed.  Melanie Kolesar
