

George W. "Bill" Seifert, 70, of Safety Harbor, FL. He was a Just man who loved, God, his Family, his Country, his Friends, hard jobs and problem solving. Bill was born in Guttenberg, New Jersey the youngest of John and Josephine Seifert's four children. He attended Memorial High School and served in the Navy as a Machinist Mate from 1965-1967 on board the USS Bushnell (AS-15). He also raised two sons who would go on to serve in the Navy. Bill was a resident of Bergenfield NJ until 1988 where he often worked as many as three jobs simultaneously in the Engineering and Maintenance fields to provide for his family. His love and belief in taking an active role in his children's lives led him to be a Police Athletic League Baseball coach from 1986-1989. In 1991, Bill settled in Safety Harbor, where he owned and operated an apartment complex. He worked in the engineering department at National Linen Services in Safety Harbor from 1989 until 1992 and went on to work at ABC Packaging services in Tarpon Springs, until a medical condition forced him to retire in 2007. In retirement, Bill loved spending time with his family, his friends, his animals, tinkering with small gadgets, and creating things with his hands. Leading as he would attest, A Happy Life! Bill passed away on May 12, 2015. He is survived by his love of 21 years Alyce, her sons and daughters in-law, Chris and Katie, Craig and Jannie, Paul and Sara; his son Scott and future Daughter-Law Elizabeth; his stepson Louis Zall; his brother John Seifert and Sister Millie Pantiliano; as well as by many nieces and nephews, friends, and cherished loved ones. A Funeral Service will be held on May 30th at 10:30am at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church 2405 Philippe Pkwy, Safety Harbor, FL 34695 (727) 726-8477. In lieu of flowers the family asks for you to make a charitable donation to either the Humane Society of Pinellas, Metropolitan Ministries, any Veterans organization, or perform a random act of kindness for someone else.
