
James C. Rodgers, (aka Pat, Buddy, Rocky, Boy, Grandpa Bubba) 83 of Clearwater passed away at his home Dec. 22, 2010. Left behind is his beloved wife of 58 years, Frances (my Mom) & his devoted children, son Mark, daughters Barbara and husband Duane; Mary Beth and husband Will, and his two grandsons, Cameron (Bubba) and Evan (Bubba too). He is also survivied by his Nephew Joseph and his wife Joyce, Nieces Mary Alice and husband Paul and Patti Ann and husband David. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA and was an avid Steelers fan. He served his country for 20 years and retired as as a Seargant First Class from the Army. He moved his family from Fort Knox, KY in 1970 and settled in Clearwater, FL thanks to his dear friend and Army Buddy Ernie Dumont and his wife Mary. After working in construction, he started a new career in the United State Post Office, and later retired from there after 18 years. He was a wonderful friend and neighbor and always welcomed visitors with a smile and a cold beer. He and his clever and quick witt will be missed by all. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday December 29th at 11:00 am. at Light of Christ Catholic Church, 2176 Marilyn Street, Clearwater. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt, Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.
