Jean A Potter

Jean Potter May 7, 1936 to November 16, 2014 A beloved mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Friend and caregiver, went home to be with the Lord on November 16, 2014. Jean moved to Clearwater in 1962 from Pittsburgh, she loved people and expressed her love best by sharing all she had and serving others. Jean is survived by her brother Joseph Miller, sons James Potter (Judy), Mike Potter, David Potter (Debbie) and Daughters, Terry Stir, Cindy Trent, Anna Miller (Gary Selby) and Jody Shirley (Brad). Jean has 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Nicholas Potter “Nicky Joe” and Sister Ruth Smith. Although Jean gave birth to 8 children she was known as “Ma Potter” to many whom she met over the years, providing a safe refuge in her home to numerous people. Her legacy spans generations and her generosity has been a blessing to all that had the honor of knowing her. She is now in the presents of the Lord and loved ones and has peace beyond all understanding. A celebration of her life will take place Saturday, 2 pm, At Sylvan Abby Funeral Home.
