Joann A. Kuechenberg, 81, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025. Born on December 12, 1943, in Lithuania, Joann lived a life defined by strength, compassion, and an unwavering devotion to her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Pat (Peter) Jokubka and Gus Puznikas.
Joann is survived by her loving son, John Calinski, and his wife Marisol; her cherished grandchildren Joanna, Geraldine, Jennifer, Justin, and Allison; and her adored great-grandchildren Kamden, Colton, Tea, Day, and Ivy.
She is also survived by her devoted life partner, Stephen Foster; her brothers Don Puznikas, Steve (Joan) Jasen, and Victor (Becky) Jasevicius; her brother-in-law David Foster and his wife Donna; and her dear nieces and nephews Rob, Alice, Alex, Xavier, and Ashley (Carlos) Campos.
Joann’s love extended beyond immediate family, embracing a wide circle of extended family and dear friends who were touched by her warmth, generosity, and enduring spirit.
A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and partner, Joann’s legacy lives on through the lives she enriched. She will be remembered for her quiet strength, kind heart, and the deep love she shared with all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Joann’s memory to a charity of your choice.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
